This policy covers both the UnisealCR Android application and this website (unisealcr.com): what information we collect, how it is used, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.
Who We Are
The UnisealCR Android application ("the App") and this website (unisealcr.com) are operated by Ysagabi Med Marketing GmbH, FN 681103 y, Handelsgericht Wien, Negerlegasse 7/14, 1020 Wien, Austria ("we", "us"). We are the controller responsible for your personal data. Contact: isy@unisealcr.com.
Data the App Processes
Everything below is collected only when you actively use the relevant feature. None of it is required to install or open the App.
Account details — if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, e-mail address and account identifier (via Google Firebase) to sync your content between your devices.
Personal profile — name, phone number, date of birth and similar details you choose to enter in the Personal Info page.
Health measurements — values you record yourself (such as glucose, blood pressure, pulse, oxygen, weight, height, blood type, allergies and medications). They are stored in your account and shared only when you choose to send your health file to a doctor or family member. The App is not a medical device and does not diagnose.
Location — used to calculate daily halachic times (sunrise, candle-lighting, nightfall) and for location-based reminders. We do not build movement histories.
Microphone — audio is captured only while you talk to Yoni, the voice assistant, and is sent for processing to the AI providers listed below. There is no background listening.
Camera — images are used to scan barcodes, QR codes and cheques inside the App.
Contacts — read on your device only, to find a number when you ask Yoni to call or message someone. Contacts are never uploaded to any server.
Memorial entries — names of the deceased and dedication verses you submit for the Heichal HaShemot memorial board are reviewed by a moderator and then displayed publicly in the App. Submit only information you are entitled to publish.
Scans, events and app content — your scan history, reminders, saved items and chats with Yoni, stored so the App works and can sync.
Diagnostics — device model, Android version and error logs, used solely to fix crashes and faults.
Data the Website Processes
Self-hosted analytics — anonymous page views with random identifiers. Your IP address is used momentarily to derive a country name over an encrypted connection (ipwho.is) and is never stored. "Do Not Track" is honoured.
Local storage — remembers preferences such as dark mode and reading language. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking.
Read-aloud and translation — if you use these buttons, the selected text is sent to Google services to produce speech or a translation.
Who We Share Data With
Google Firebase (authentication and Cloud Firestore) — sign-in and syncing your content between devices.
Google Gemini and OpenAI — process the content of your conversations with Yoni; in voice calls this includes the audio. Their handling is governed by their own terms.
Our servers (unisealcr.info, chotmcr.info) — hosted infrastructure for the App. Transfers to Israel are covered by the European Commission's adequacy decision.
Google Fonts / jsDelivr — static fonts and icons for this website.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers. We disclose data beyond the above only with your consent or where the law requires it.
Legal Bases & Retention
We process data to provide the App and website (performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), for our legitimate interest in keeping them working and secure (Art. 6(1)(f)), and — for health data and voice — on the basis of your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time in the App's settings. Data is kept while your account exists and deleted within 30 days of an account-deletion request; diagnostics are kept up to 12 months.
Your Rights
Under the GDPR you may access, correct, delete or export your data, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent. Write to isy@unisealcr.com — we answer within 30 days. You may also delete your account directly: see Delete Your Account. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).
Security & Children
All traffic between the App, the website and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS), and access to stored data is restricted. The App and website are intended for users aged 18 and over; we do not knowingly collect data about children.
